Thanks to our COE PTA Teacher Grant awarded last year, our students received brand-new Ozobots—and our 1st and 3rd Cheetahs put them to great use this month!

3rd Grade: Designed and coded food chain pathways for Ozobots to follow.

1st Grade: Solved addition and subtraction problems, then used that to code their Ozobots to perform a Dia De Los Muertos dance!

Our Cheetahs had an absolute blast integrating technology directly into their learning!

We’re having a BEAR-y great week in the library!

In honor of Fat Bear Week, our Cheetahs have been diving deep into the world of bears! We learned all about hibernation, how food chains work, and why protecting healthy ecosystems is so important for our wildlife.

Our Pre-K and Kindergarten Cheetahs took learning to the next level by re-enacting We're Going on a Bear Hunt! They crawled through dark, spooky caves and even spotted a "real" bear at the end!

Cheetah pride was on full display today as our entire campus gathered for our very first COE assembly of the year!

It was incredible having all of our Cheetahs under one roof to celebrate our amazing students, build school spirit, and reinforce our core IB values. From recognizing our hard-working Cheetahs who earned "I See IB" tickets to sharing a few fun moments—including a brave attempt at the Impossible Shot—the cafeteria was packed with high energy.

Moments like this remind us how special our school community truly is when we all come together. We are so proud of our Cheetahs and can't wait for our next campus celebration!

It has been an absolute joy watching these students grow, and we could not be prouder of the leaders they’ve become. Congratulations on your next big journey ahead at Walsh Middle School! We know you're going to do incredible things.

Round Rock ISD students will need to take home their district-issued Chromebook over the summer. All students’ Classlink and Google accounts will remain available over the summer break.
If you are a graduating senior, please return your device and charger to your school’s ITS before graduation.

Our final school assembly today was full of laughter, cheers, and one unforgettable moment. Congratulations to Emelyse G., a 4th Grade Cheetah, for making the "impossible shot"—a moment we’ll be talking about for a long time!

It was great to see our teachers get in on the fun and attempt the shot as well. It’s moments like these that make our school community so special!

We had a blast hosting our incoming Kindergarten students for Cheetah Camp! Huge thanks to all the families who attended and to our incredible Kindergarten teachers and Office Staff for ensuring everything ran smoothly.

Two Fridays ago, the stage was on fire! Our Cheetahs absolutely crushed it at the COE PTA Talent Show on May 1st.

Whether it was their first time performing or they’re seasoned pros, we are so impressed by the hard work and "Cheetah Courage" on display. Thanks to our wonderful PTA for organizing the event and our amazing community for making it such a packed house and cheering so loud!

Our 3rd Grade Cheetahs had a "swinging" good time Friday! We were honored to host local jazz musician Dave Lee, who treated our students to a live performance and a deep dive into the world of jazz.
As part of our current IB Unit of Inquiry, our Cheetahs are exploring the many ways people express themselves. Dave showed us how jazz is more than just music—it’s a language of emotion and creativity!
A huge thank you to Dave Lee for sharing your talent and inspiring our young artists! Thank you to Mrs. Hall, our IB coordinator, for arranging this experience for our 3rd Grade Cheetahs!

A huge thank you to our PTA for the delicious Rosa’s Cafe nacho bar today. This entire week has been a whirlwind of kindness, and we are so grateful for the constant support. We truly have the best community behind us here at COE!
